These terms apply to every order placed on kurofolio.com by a consumer, meaning a person buying for purposes outside their trade or profession. By placing an order, you accept them. They do not limit any right you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
1. Our products
Kurofolio sells printed binder pages. A design is a set of nine separate prints, each about 68 x 97 mm, made to slide into the nine pockets of a binder page. The centre print carries the artwork that sits behind your own card.
- Cards and binders are not included. The trading card shown in our pictures belongs to you and is never part of the order.
- Every set is printed on photo paper. Small differences in colour or framing between the screen and the paper are normal and are not a defect.
- Our designs are fan-made artworks. They are not official products of Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
2. Prices
Prices are shown in the currency of your delivery country when we sell in that currency, otherwise in euros.
- Inside the European Union, prices include VAT at the rate of your delivery country.
- Outside the European Union, prices do not include import duties, taxes or customs fees. They are charged by your country on delivery and paid by you.
Shipping costs are added at checkout and shown before you pay. The price that applies is the one shown when you confirm your order.
3. Ordering
You choose your designs, your delivery country and a shipping option, then pay. The contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation by email. Please check your details before paying: we ship to the address you give us.
We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an obvious pricing error, a product that is no longer available, or a suspicion of fraud. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
4. Payment
Payment is taken in full when you order, through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Delivery
We ship from Belgium to the countries listed at checkout. Delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times are described on our shipping page and shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you designate, take physical possession of the order. If an order does not arrive, contact us: we will look into it with the carrier and, if it is lost, send it again or refund it.
6. Right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. How to do so, what it costs and how we refund you are explained on our returns page, which also contains the model withdrawal form.
7. Legal guarantee
You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If a print arrives damaged, misprinted or does not match your order, write to us with your order number and a photo, ideally within a few days of delivery. We will send a replacement or refund you.
8. Liability
We are responsible for the correct performance of the contract within the limits of the law. We are not liable for damage caused by using the prints in a way they are not meant for, or for events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it.
9. Intellectual property
The designs, images and texts of this website are protected. Buying a set gives you the right to use the prints for your personal collection. It does not allow you to copy, scan, resell or reproduce them.
10. Personal data
We process your data only to handle your order and as described in our privacy policy.
11. Questions and complaints
Write to us at [email protected]: we try to solve every issue directly and quickly. If we cannot agree, you can contact the Belgian consumer mediation service, the Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur (mediationconsommateur.be), or the consumer authority of your own country.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence. Disputes fall under the competent courts, including those of your place of residence where the law provides so.
